The Client Operations Consultant supports a Regional Vice President (RVP) and their team of approximately 10 Account Executives (AEs) in managing a ~$150M book of business and achieving a ~$140M growth quota by enabling smooth, efficient, and consistent client management operations across the region. This role acts as a central operational partner-developing and coordinating internal processes, producing client-facing materials, resolving operational issues, and serving as a connection point to cross-functional teams such as Customer Success, Value Management, Sales, and Finance.
The Associate will work closely with Account Executives to reduce operational burden and strengthen execution across the client account lifecycle. While primarily an operations-focused role, this position offers meaningful exposure to client-facing activities and supports professional development for broader commercial or account management career paths.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Regional Operations Management
  • Partner closely with the Regional Vice President to manage day-to-day regional operations, team cadence, and follow-through on priorities to better enable the retention and growth of the region's ~$150M book of business
  • Independently prepare materials, summaries, and action tracking for regional leadership meetings and operating reviews
  • Coordinate with the Market Enablement Lead to identify and drive nationwide initiatives and priorities as appropriate
  • Proactively reinforce and cascade updates, best practices, and process changes across the regional account team
  • Client Operations Activities & Initiatives
  • Partner with Account Executives to drive client management activities, ensuring consistency and operational excellence across accounts
  • Prepare client portfolio reviews and strategy discussions by developing executive-ready content, analyses, and presentation materials
  • Independently project manages client-related initiatives to enable AEs to focus on relationship management and growth
  • Research and manage resolution of invoicing, billing, credit, and contract-related inquiries in partnership with Finance and Legal
  • Serve as a coordination point to ensure timely communication and resolution of client operational issues
  • Cross-Functional Liaison
  • Act as a liaison between the account team and Customer Success, Value Management, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to support smooth handoffs, alignment on client priorities, and ongoing account health
  • Facilitate internal alignment across functions to ensure client commitments are well understood and executed
  • Event Outreach & Logistics
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts and logistics for client-facing events in partnership with Marketing
  • Assist with pre- and post-event materials, tracking, and follow-up activities
  • AI Insights & Analysis
  • Conduct analysis using internal tools, dashboards, and AI-enabled insights to surface trends, risks, or opportunities across the regional client portfolio
  • Assist with data gathering, synthesis, and translation of insights into executive-ready formats

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, business operations, sales support, consulting, account management, or project/program management
  • 2+ years of experience owning and delivering projects end-to-end (planning, execution, stakeholder alignment, and results)
    Previous experience with work in a regulated, process-driven, or compliance-oriented environment with adherence to policies and controls
  • 2+ years of organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and Co-Pilot with ability to create accurate, executive-ready deliverables

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting client-facing, sales, or account management organizations
  • Healthcare, payer/provider, or regulated industry experience (HIPAA awareness strongly valued)
  • Experience with client invoicing, billing, contract coordination, or financial operations workflows
  • Experience working in highly matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Experience supporting or coordinating client-facing events or initiatives
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Power BI, or similar reporting/dashboard tools
  • Proven exposure to building client portfolio reviews, account plans, or executive reporting
  • Proven solid analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proven solid written and verbal communication skills with attention to accuracy, clarity, and professionalism
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and appropriately escalate risks/issues
  • Proven ability to handle ambiguity, adapt to change, and maintain compliance standards under pressure
  • Proven commitment to data integrity, confidentiality, and appropriate handling of sensitive information (aligned to healthcare compliance expectations)
  • Proven background in consulting, business operations, or strategy execution roles
  • Demonstrated interest in progressing into client-facing, commercial, or operations leadership roles

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
