Job Description:

At Job Duck, we are seeking a compassionate and highly organized New Client Intake Specialist to support prospective clients during their first interaction with the firm. In this role, you will guide callers through the intake process, gather essential information, evaluate potential cases, and help connect clients with the legal team. Your ability to communicate clearly, build trust, and provide a positive experience will have a direct impact on helping individuals receive the support they need. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment, enjoys helping others, and can balance professionalism with empathy in every conversation.

Monthly Compensation Range: From 1,142 to 1,220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Follow intake procedures and scripts to ensure consistency
  • Assist with translation during meetings when needed
  • Assist with obtaining signed agreements during intake calls
  • Gather relevant information regarding potential cases
  • Conduct conflict checks within the CRM system
  • Enter client information accurately into MyCase CRM
  • Schedule consultations with attorneys and legal staff
  • Screen and evaluate callers based on firm guidelines
  • Answer inbound calls from prospective client
  • Maintain detailed and organized client records
  • Explain general information regarding services and fees
  • Provide a positive and professional client experience throughout the intake process

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience working in intake or customer service roles

Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish

Active listening and relationship building abilities

Compassionate and client focused approach

Excellent customer service skills

Strong attention to detail

Effective problem solving abilities

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Professional phone etiquette

Ability to remain composed during sensitive conversations

Location and timezone: Remote, Central Standard Time (CST)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday ranging from 7AM to 6-7PM CTS (8 hours per day)
Expected call volume: High (60-80 calls per day)
