• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop personalized therapy plans.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing various therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Maintain detailed clinical records in compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements, ensuring patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals to create a supportive and interdisciplinary approach to client care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay abreast of the latest trends and research in mental health.

Our client base consists primarily of individuals and families who may have limited access to traditional mental health services. We provide care for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and emotional disturbances. • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, particularly in clinical settings.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing the practice of counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clientele.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, contributing to effective client care.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and related technologies.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care.
• Experience in providing therapy in community health settings or working with underserved populations.
• Familiarity with best practices in remote counseling and telehealth services.
