Work Environment

This role primarily operates in a remote setting, allowing for workplace flexibility and the convenience of home office environments. Responsibilities will include maintaining accurate clinical records and utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software to streamline administrative tasks, enhancing your ability to focus on client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized therapy plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Engage with individuals, couples, families, and groups to facilitate meaningful discussions and therapeutic outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and holistic care for clients.
• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards in record-keeping and client confidentiality.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training, attending workshops and seminars to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary client population served by Refresh Minds Counseling consists of individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. As a counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse clientele, offering them essential resources and support that they may have limited access to elsewhere. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Nevada is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling environment is essential.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of building rapport with a diverse range of clients.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization or training in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, facilitating client-centered care.
• Familiarity with EMR software and other relevant technology to ensure efficient documentation and billing processes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
