Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to devise tailored treatment plans for clients.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, adapting techniques to meet diverse needs.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care strategies that support client progress.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, adhering to all ethical and legal standards governing the practice of counseling.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and continued education, staying informed about the latest mental health trends and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele served at Refresh Minds Counseling includes individuals and families from various socioeconomic backgrounds, many of whom face barriers to receiving mental health services. Counselors will work with a diverse patient population experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and substance misuse. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards pertaining to counseling practices.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
