Medical Records Clerk
Haymarket VA
From $20 Per Hour
MUST:
2+ years of experience working in a medical office
Experience answering phones and assisting with inquiries
Responding to medical records requests
Preparing medical records prior to appointments
Requestion medical records
Experience working with paper Medical Records
Reviewing medical records for accuracy
Collating medical records
Boxing up medical records
Ability to file medical records alphabetically
Ability to take direction and be proactive
Detailed and organized
Ability to work in a high volume setting
DUTIES:
The Medical Records candidate's duties include but are not limited to the following:
Answer phone calls
Respond to medical records requests
Call practice sites to request medical records
Scan and upload documents into medical records
Review medical records and file
Collate medical records
File medical records alphabetically
Review medical records for completeness
Provide support to the office as needed
