About the Role
Join a dynamic and collaborative remote team as an Accountant I. Responsibilities
- Analyze complex accounting transactions and resolve challenging accounting issues.
- Prepare and review detailed journal entries and maintain a complete, accurate general ledger.
- Generate, assess, and present comprehensive financial statements and internal/external reports.
- Enhance and monitor internal controls over financial reporting, recommending process improvements.
- Develop and maintain supporting documentation and work papers for all accounting processes.
- Serve as a resource to less-experienced accountants, providing functional advice and informal training.
- Research technical accounting guidance and stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Evaluate existing accounting policies, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs and standards.
Required Skills and Experience
