About the Role:

The Accounting Manager will report to the Director of Accounting and will work to establish financial processes with all business unit leaders to contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all monthly reporting, financial tasks, budgeting and accounting. This position requires knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare month end financial statement close procedures and consolidate all business units
  • Prepare and review journal entries, as well as balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
  • ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
  • Develop and maintain a timely monthly financial reporting package in accordance with generally accepted accounting principals
  • Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Establish relationships with all business unit owners to develop a working cadence for financial information and business performance metrics and reporting
  • Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
  • Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements
  • Keep an organized filing system of all accounts, statements, transactions, payments and debts
  • Coordinating activities of external auditors
  • Assist the Director of Accounting with accurate and timely financial reporting

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Big 4 Public Accounting experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA, CPA, CMA preferred)
  • Experience with ASC 606/340
  • Experience with Workday ERP
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Sense of urgency and ability to multi-task in fast-paced tech environment
  • Ability to work with multiple business lines and senior executives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Willingness to learn and to take on a variety of tasks
  • Experience in a tech industry environment

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $140,000/annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
