Summary:

The Managing Director will be a part of a team supporting Corporate Bankers across Corporate, Specialty and Government Banking verticals for industry specific information and client presentations. Will develop pitches and client presentation in tandem with relationship managers, creating and organizing content and analyses as well as collaborating with capital markets and other product and service patterns. The team has knowledge and understanding of the Bank’s products/services offered, particularly the niche ones such that the team can bring unique ideas to clients and prospects. The team will work with relevant partners (and sales direct) to make sure partner materials meet Institutional Banking standards for including in client presentations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with all bankers to track client & specific industry market activity.
  • Manage the pitch book process for all bankers across industry groups, upholding Huntington Capital Markets branding and standards.
  • Develop Huntington overview, qualifications specific to each potential client, and comparable company analysis for strategic dialogue with clients.
  • Integrate comparable company analysis with all product group for strategy discussion or specific financing comps.
  • Conduct management reporting on client activity and ensure ideas and successes are communicated across the platform.
  • Working closely with the RM/PM/Capital Markets team, conduct integrated modeling and discussion materials aligned to our client’s corporate finance decisions.
  • Act as the liaison to deal management and all product groups within Huntington for idea generation and presentations.
  • Effectively partner with Capital Markets for specific market updates, situation specific analysis, and financing solutions.
  • Complete client Opportunity Overview to drive financing discussions with capital markets partners.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 or more years' experience with credit/lending in Commercial Banking

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success structuring and underwriting commercial credit
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Established professional network
  • High level of professionalism

Compensation Range:

$125,000.00 - $255,000.00 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
