Overview This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a OS&D Manager - REMOTE. In this vital role, you will oversee all processes related to overages, shortages, and damaged freight.

Your leadership will significantly impact reducing discrepancies, enhancing overall service quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with various teams, utilizing your analytical skills to identify trends and implement improvements. Your contributions will not only safeguard company assets but also elevate our operational standards.

This position requires you to work within the Pacific Time Zone to facilitate effective communication and operations. Accountabilities Oversee OS&D Processes: Manage daily OS&D reporting and ensure accurate documentation of all discrepancies across terminals. Investigate Freight Discrepancies: Identify root causes for overages, shortages, and damaged shipments, and coordinate resolution efforts.

Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work with claims, operations, and customer service to resolve OS&D incidents efficiently and prevent recurrence. Analyze Trends and Metrics: Track OS&D reports, identify patterns, and recommend process improvements to reduce losses and improve service quality. Train and Support Staff: Educate terminal and operational teams on OS&D procedures, reporting standards, and proper documentation practices.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure OS&D processes comply with company policies, DOT/FMCSA regulations, and industry best practices. Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years in transportation operations, logistics, or claims management, preferably in LTL or TL freight.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
