Job description

What Practice Management contributes to Cardinal Health
Practice Operations Management oversees the business and administrative operations of a medical practice.
The Practice Management job family is responsible for staffing, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and property management with a goal of optimizing patient care, operational efficiency, and financial viability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily clinic or department operations.

  • Ensure efficient patient flow and service delivery.

  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures.

  • Monitor productivity and operational performance.

  • Recruit, train, and supervise medical and administrative staff.

  • Schedule employees and manage staffing needs.

  • Conduct performance evaluations.

  • Address employee and patient concerns


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in clinic or healthcare management, required

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure.

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field preferred.

  • Oncology experience, highly desired
