Job description

Multiple AmLaw 100 law firms are hiring Legal Billing Coordinator's for its New York and Remote office's. Hybrid or 100% Remote opportunities available. Whether your title today is Billing Coordinator, Billing Specialist, or Billing Analyst, we encourage you to apply.

What you'll do:

- Own the monthly billing cycle for your assigned attorneys: draft, edit, and distribute prebills and proformas

- Execute complex billing adjustments, write-downs, and rate changes with precision

- Generate and distribute client invoices; submit LEDES e-billing through client platforms and clear rejections fast

- Apply client billing guidelines and outside counsel guidelines to time entries

- Answer attorney and client billing inquiries with white-glove service

- Catch discrepancies early and bring process improvements to the billing team


What you bring:

- 3+ years of legal billing or professional-services billing experience in a law firm.

- Hands-on Aderant Elite 3E or Aderant experience, or a comparable legal billing platform, plus e-billing tools

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills

- Month-end accuracy under high volume

- Two-year degree preferred, or equivalent experience
