Job description

A national law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Billing Manager to lead billing operations and support a busy, fast-paced legal environment. This role will oversee the billing team, manage the full billing cycle, and partner closely with attorneys and accounting staff to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily billing operations and monthly billing workflows
  • Supervise and support billing staff performance and productivity
  • Review invoices, billing edits, write-offs, and client billing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with client guidelines and e-billing processes
  • Partner with attorneys and finance teams to resolve billing issues and support collections efforts
  • Assist with reporting, process improvements, and billing system updates

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of legal billing experience, preferably within a large law firm
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
