We've partnered with a growing law firm that's looking to hire a Billing Specialist. This position will play a key role in providing external clients with accurate and prompt invoices, ensuring an outstanding customer service experience. The ideal candidate will need to be able to demonstrate adaptability and efficiency in a constantly evolving environment.

Billing Specialist Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the client billing process including the processing of pre-bills, assisting with adjustments, write-offs, and execution of final bills to clients
  • Assist in the eBilling process from upload to approval and tracking billing guidelines to ensure compliance for an efficient payment process
  • Work closely with our intake team and rate administration on new clients and matters to allow for proper billing setup and rate applications
  • Work cohesively with other functional areas of the accounting department and firm to assist where needed
  • Provide the highest level of professional service to external clients and internally across departments
Billing Specialist Education and Requirements:
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience in an accounting or finance role.
  • Minimum two years of experience in billing or accounting preferred.
  • Experience working with legal billing systems and electronic billing platforms preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel.
  • Strong analytic and mathematical skills.
  • Experience with Aderant preferred.
