Job description

Connect Staffing is partnering with a national law firm to identify an experienced Legal Billing Specialist for a remote flexible, temp-to-perm opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of law firm billing experience and be comfortable managing complex billing and e-billing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage legal billing and e-billing for assigned attorneys and matters
  • Review, edit, and process prebills and invoices
  • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and requirements
  • Respond to attorney and client billing requests and resolve billing issues
  • Manage electronic invoice submissions, rejections, and follow-up
  • Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams throughout the billing cycle

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of billing experience within a law firm required
  • Strong knowledge of legal billing and e-billing processes
  • Experience with Aderant and/or BillBlast strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
  • Highly organized, dependable, and able to work independently in a remote environment
