Job description

Job Description Instructional Designer (eLearning & Curriculum Development) Location: Remote Duration: Contract Compensation: Competitive Overview Seeking an Instructional Designer to support the design, development, and delivery of engaging learning solutions for a large enterprise environment. This role will partner closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), stakeholders, and project teams to create effective training programs, eLearning content, and curriculum materials that drive learner engagement and performance. The ideal candidate brings strong instructional design expertise, experience developing online learning content, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain instructional materials, eLearning courses, and training curricula Partner with SMEs to gather requirements and translate complex information into effective learning solutions Create storyboards, learning objectives, assessments, and instructional content Develop interactive eLearning modules using Articulate 360 Produce and edit audio, video, and multimedia assets utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud tools Conduct learning needs analysis and recommend instructional strategies and delivery methods Support curriculum development initiatives from concept through implementation Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables using project management tools Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders Ensure training materials meet quality standards and learning objectives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise learning initiatives Perform quality assurance reviews on training content and learning deliverables Required Qualifications 2+ years of Instructional Design experience 2+ years of Curriculum Development experience 2+ years of experience consulting and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) Experience developing eLearning and blended learning solutions Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills Strong organizational and project management abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously Required Tools & Technologies Articulate 360 Adobe Creative Cloud Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe Audition Project Management Software Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications Claims training experience Insurance industry experience Learning Quality Assurance (QA) experience Experience developing enterprise learning programs Experience supporting remote learning environments Storyboarding expertise Multimedia content development experience Learning management system (LMS) experience Ideal Candidate Profile Experienced Instructional Designer with strong eLearning development capabilities Skilled at partnering with SMEs and translating technical or business content into engaging learning experiences Proactive self-starter who seeks opportunities and takes ownership of projects Strong collaborator and communicator who works effectively across teams Detail-oriented with excellent curriculum development and quality assurance skills Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple concurrent projects Target Titles Instructional Designer Senior Instructional Designer Learning Experience Designer (LXD) eLearning Developer Curriculum Developer Learning Consultant Training Developer Learning & Development Specialist Training Instructional Designer Learning Solutions Designer Bonus Experience Claims Training Insurance Operations Learning Quality Assurance Adult Learning Programs Corporate Training Employee Development Programs Enterprise Learning & Development (L&D) Initiatives
