You will have the opportunity to connect with clients from various backgrounds through modern telehealth platforms, facilitating convenient access to mental health services. Our clinic operates during standard business hours, specifically from Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, aligning with your work-life balance goals.

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to evaluate symptoms related to mood disorders, including their severity, frequency, and duration.
• Collaborate with clients to develop customized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, objectives, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), delivering high-quality patient care.
• Educate and support clients and their families about mood disorders, potential treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress throughout the course of treatment, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, comprehensive care for each client.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed of the latest research and practices in mood disorder treatment.
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and training sessions, promoting collaborative efforts and continuous learning.
• Act as an advocate for clients, addressing stigma within mental health and supporting better access to necessary services.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Best Care Therapeutic Services, you will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele often includes adolescents, adults, and families seeking understanding and effective treatment for mental health challenges.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Current, active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
• Profound knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, including but not limited to CBT and DBT.
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to coordinate care effectively with psychiatrists and other health professionals.
• A proven record of achieving positive outcomes in therapeutic interventions and treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish a strong therapeutic rapport with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Previous experience working in a community health setting or similar outpatient practice.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting telehealth sessions and using relevant technology platforms.
• Experience with case management and collaboration in a multidisciplinary team setting.
