Job Description
SUMMARY
Provide comprehensive support to the Human Resources Department, including benefits administration, employee relations, HRIS maintenance, record keeping and other functions necessary for the support of the department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide extensive computer support to the Human Resources Department.
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions including new hires, transfers, promotions, status changes, and separations.
  • Facilitate onboarding activities and ensure completion of required employment documentation.
  • Maintain HRIS databases, employee recordkeeping, data security and integrity, and personnel information reporting.
  • Assist employees with leave requests, HR policies, and general employment related inquiries.
  • Enter, audit, and maintain employee information within HRIS system and other HR platforms.
  • Maintain employee personnel files.
  • Maintain records to assure compliance with EEO and affirmative action legislation.
  • Assist with employment verifications, personnel action forms, and employee communications.
  • Maintain confidentiality of applicant, employee, and proprietary company information.
  • Work with and process data using computerized spreadsheets and database applications.
  • Provide quality control of all data entered into the HRIS systems.
  • Partner with Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Operations teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee information.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required. College or technical coursework is preferred.
  • A minimum of two (2) years administrative experience which includes providing general human resources support resources such as HR record keeping and document processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Experience working within Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), applicant tracking systems (ATS), and onboarding platforms; Costpoint experience preferred.
  • Strong data entry, auditing, and recordkeeping skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of HR processes include onboarding, employee records management, benefits administration, leave administration, and employment documentation.
  • Knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA), prevailing wage requirements, collective bargaining agreements, or other federal labor regulations.
  • Experience working in a multi-company setting is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to contribute to the fostering of positive office morale; be a team player.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with applicants, employees, and managers at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience supporting remote or geographically dispersed workforces.
  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to providing timely, accurate, and professional support. Excellent telephone skills.
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing; occasional walking or standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 10 pounds. Moderate to extended periods of office work with heavy periods of computer usage. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE
  • Pay range: $20 to $23 per hour.
