TASK FORCE ASSIGNMENT (HYBRID)

We're hiring a Task Force Event Planning Manager - a creative and detail-oriented event professional to join our hotel team! In this Event Planning Manager role, you will coordinate all aspects of events - from initial planning to execution - ensuring unforgettable guest experiences.

Event Planning Manager Duties: As a Task Force Event Planning Manager, you'll act as a liaison between customers and hotel sales teams, providing direction and supervision during execution of meetings, banquets, and events. You will be available to customers throughout events to solve problems proactively, suggest alternatives, and ensure exceptional event management and customer satisfaction. You'll directly serve group and catering customers by managing group room blocks, food and beverage coordination, public meeting spaces, and billing processes.ย  ย

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales and event planning experience
  • 1-year food and beverage experience
  • Strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts

  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office
  • Present a professional appearance and confidence
  • Ability to communicate effectively with public and other Team Members
  • Strong time management skills, and ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems and hotel event management software
