Job description

We are seeking a seasoned Epic Training Manager with strong experience in hospital training strategy, organizational change management (OCM), and Epic Community Connect implementations. The ideal candidate will serve as both a consultant and training lead, guiding the client through the successful planning, execution, and delivery of their Epic training program.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the overall hospital training strategy and program for end users across departments.
  • Provide expert guidance on organizational change management (OCM) to ensure smooth adoption of new workflows and technologies.
  • Serve as the Epic Training Manager for a Community Connect receiver, collaborating with the host organization to align on training goals, tools, and timelines.
  • Coordinate training materials, resource planning, and delivery logistics.
  • Liaise with operational leaders, IT staff, and Epic credentialed trainers to execute training effectively.
  • Monitor training progress and implement adjustments based on feedback and user readiness.
Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Epic Training Manager or Training Lead in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Epic Community Connect environments.
  • Experience developing and executing hospital-wide training strategies.
  • Background in organizational change management, especially in healthcare IT transitions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
