Job description

At Learner Education, we connect students with exceptional tutors who help them build confidence, improve academically, and reach their goals. We are a fast growing remote education company focused on delivering high quality tutoring experiences to students across the United States.

We are currently looking for motivated, relationship driven Academic Sales Representatives to join our growing team.

This is not a cold calling role. Families are already reaching out looking for support. Your job is to guide conversations, build trust quickly, understand student needs, and help families take the next step toward tutoring services that truly make an impact.

What You’ll Do

• Speak with prospective students and families interested in tutoring services
• Guide families through the enrollment process and help coordinate introductory tutoring sessions
• Build rapport quickly through phone, text, and email communication
• Consult with families to understand academic goals and recommend tutoring solutions
• Follow up with families after their initial tutoring experience and help convert them into ongoing tutoring clients
• Handle a high volume of inbound leads and conversations throughout the day
• Accurately track communication and activity within our CRM
• Partner closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth student experience
• Hit weekly and monthly enrollment and performance goals

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly

• Comfortable spending a large portion of the day speaking with families over the phone

• Strong understanding of education in the US and student success is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple conversations, follow ups, and tasks simultaneously

• General computer and technology proficiency, including Google Suite and VOIP systems

• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Zendesk is a plus but not required

• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a fast paced environment

• Reliable high speed internet and a dedicated home workspace

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

• Experience in education, hospitality, coaching, admissions, sales, or other customer facing roles is a plus

• Base salary: $45,000 to $50,000

• Additional earning potential through uncapped commission opportunities

Schedule

This is a full time remote role with a set schedule. We currently have the following shifts available:

• Tuesday – Saturday | 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET
• Sunday – Thursday | 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET
(Please note that Saturday shifts end earlier at 7:00 PM ET.)

While candidates may indicate a preferred schedule, placement into a specific shift cannot be guaranteed and will be determined based on business needs at the time of hire.

Flexibility and consistency within these scheduled hours are important, as this role supports families and students during peak engagement times.
