Overview:

This role offers fantastic opportunity to be a prime mover in a rapidly growing, patient-focused business. IntellaTriage is recruiting a talented Director of Clinical Education who excels at designing, delivering, and managing learning programs and processes for instructor-led and eLearning courses. This candidate must possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with an aptitude for presenting and educating adults of various backgrounds. This role is one of the most impactful positions in the company, intended to support execution of the company's mission: to improve the lives of nurses and patients. Candidate must be someone with the ability to both create and deliver remote education to a diverse adult group of learners for fully remote nursing positions. This role reports to the Vice President of Nursing and is a full-time position based out of Nashville, TN.

Founded in 2008, IntellaTriage provides 24/7 nurse-first triage solutions to providers and their patients across the United States. Leveraging the largest network of remote licensed nurses in post-acute care, the company delivers expert, compassionate care when patients need it most, while reducing the burden on field clinicians and improving nurse retention.

As the nursing shortage intensifies, post-acute population increases, and value-based care initiatives expand, IntellaTriage offers a critical, human-focused, and data-driven solution to support care teams, strengthen patient outcomes, and ensure access to timely, high-quality care.

What you'll do:

The Director of Clinical Education is responsible for developing training materials, delivering training, and ensuring the success of training programs for onboarding new teammates, continuing education, and leadership development. You will be responsible for the full cycle of talent management and development of content and curriculum for both new hires and tenured employees. You will also identify specialized training needs for the company to ensure adherence to customer procedures and company processes. You will partner closely with our Clinical Operations and Quality Assurance team to ensure that the appropriate continuing education is created and delivered. The Director of Clinical Education will execute an all-encompassing learning strategy for over 300+ team members that drives IntellaTriage's mission, values, and company initiatives, including:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Create and develop e-learning programs for new hires and tenured team members.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Conduct remote training for new hires and tenured staff and be proficient in both content creation and content delivery.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Build-out and implement an enhanced and scalable nurse preceptor program.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Codify and document the training process from beginning to end to enhance the program's structure.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Identify trends and gaps in the training to continually improve the program.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Oversee a team that currently includes the Manager of Clinical Education and trainers.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Conduct frequent touchpoints and ensure that your team is performing at the expected levels.ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  The ultimate measure of success is delivery of well trained and prepared triage nurses.ย 


Requirements

Required Experience:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Candidate must be a Registered Nurse.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  A minimum of five years' experience in clinical training, program development, and leadership or related areas.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Minimum five years of experience planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating training programs.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Minimum five years of management experience and progressively responsible professional experience, with preference for service-oriented, distribution, or healthcare organizations.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Experience creating and implementing an enhanced/scalable nurse preceptor programย with a remote workforce.

Candidate Must Have Knowledge and Proficiency in:

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Designing, developing, and delivering impactful learning and development programs.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Managing a curriculum for a diverse adult audience.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Delivering training for remote employees utilizing technology.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Learning and development principles including familiarity with technology-based learning, skill development, and change management.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Multiple electronic medical records (preferred).

Salary for this role is based on experience. All part-time and full-time employees accumulate PTO, based on the number of hours worked (per year).
