Purpose
To lead the development, quality, and performance of our content across digital channels. This role is responsible for managing both internal and external writers, ensuring all content is clear, engaging, and aligned to brand voice - while also optimized to drive performance.
This is a modern editorial role that blends storytelling, content strategy, and AI-enabled production. Need understanding of how to create meaningful, human-centered content while leveraging AI tools to scale output efficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Editorial Leadership & Content Quality
  • Own editorial quality, voice, and consistency across all content
  • Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and engagement
  • Translate complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand language
  • Ensure all content reflects brand standards and resonates with target audiences

Content Strategy & Storytelling
  • Partner with SEO and marketing teams to develop content aligned to search intent and business goals
  • Shape narratives that connect with customers and support the full funnel - from awareness to conversion
  • Guide writers on structure, tone, and storytelling approach
  • Extend brand voice beyond digital content, contributing to sales materials, press releases, internal communications, and campaign messaging as needed

AI-Enabled Content Development
  • Leverage AI tools to support content creation, editing, and optimization
  • Establish workflows that combine AI efficiency with strong human editorial oversight
  • Ensure all AI-assisted content meets quality, accuracy, and brand standards
  • Continuously evaluate tools and processes to improve content production and scalability

Content Production & Team Management
  • Manage internal writers, freelancers, and agency partners
  • Build and maintain a scalable content calendar and production workflow
  • Provide clear briefs, feedback, and direction to ensure high-quality output
  • Balance speed and quality across all content initiatives

Optimization & Performance
  • Partner with SEO to optimize content for search visibility and engagement

Qualifications and Education Requirements
6 - 10+ years of experience in content, editorial, or digital marketing roles
Strong editorial background with proven ability to write, edit, and elevate content quality
Experience managing writers and content production workflows at scale
Demonstrated ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging content
Experience leveraging or integrating AI tools such as Surfer and ChatGPT into content workflows
Strong understanding of how content supports SEO, engagement, and conversion
Excellent communication and feedback skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, with ability to support Spanish-language content as needed
