Job description

The Vancouver Clinic is hiring a general radiologist - any subspecialty background welcome - for our growing 7-person department. We're an independent, 100% physician-owned, 500-clinician multispecialty group in southwest Washington, 15 minutes from Portland, in a state with no income tax. We're adding capacity ahead of a new CT coming online at our Camas site and continued clinic-wide growth. Start date is flexible, with room for a 2026 or 2027 start.
The Compensation
  • Our radiologists earned $550K-$665K in 2025 by choice of shift count; a full 4-day-per-week schedule models to ~$736K
  • ~$4,000/9-hour shift ($440/hour) is our 2026 YTD partner rate
  • Pooled partnership model: wRVUs go into a monthly pool and are distributed pro-rata by shifts worked, on an average workload of 72 wRVU/day
  • Full partner shift rate from day 1 - no associate discount
  • 2-year partnership track with no large buy-in
  • Internal partners get first right of refusal on open shifts before locums - extra income is available whenever you want it
  • Starting bonus up to $35,000, scaled to FTE

The Schedule
  • 8 AM to 5 PM weekday shifts
  • 3-4 shifts per week is what most of us work by choice; more available if you want it
  • One in-person day per week; the rest remote
  • No call. No nights. No weekends. No hospital responsibilities.
  • Vacation is highly autonomous. We are intentionally family-friendly.

The Work
  • A broad outpatient mix: CT, ultrasound, plain film, PET/CT, and MR, shared across the department
  • Strong general body imaging skills are a plus
  • No mammography. No barium fluoroscopy. No IR.
  • 7 radiologists across multiple subspecialties - you'll read to your strengths while sharing the general volume
  • Volume is growing steadily, with a new CT coming online at our Camas site
  • Tools include Visage PACS, 3 Siemens 1.5T MRIs, 2 dual-energy CTs (3rd arriving 2027), GE Logiq E10 ultrasound, cloud-based PowerScribe

The Group
Seven radiologists who get along great and back each other up on hard cases. We pitch in as needed - no territorial behavior, scorekeeping, or politics.
We are 100% physician-owned and physician-governed - not a hospital-system satellite, not a PE platform. You answer to your partners, not to a corporate utilization committee deciding how fast you read. Every shareholder has an equal voice in how the department runs.
The Benefits
  • Health, dental, vision
  • 401(k) with a clinic-funded employer contribution beginning when you become a shareholder
  • 409A non-qualified deferred compensation plan
  • Malpractice with tail coverage included
  • CME allowance
  • Short- and long-term disability, life insurance

The Location
Camas and Vancouver sit on the north bank of the Columbia River, 15 minutes from downtown Portland. You get Portland's restaurants, breweries, music, and airport - and a Washington address with no state income tax on every dollar you earn. Mt. Hood is under an hour. The Columbia River Gorge starts at the edge of town. The Oregon coast is 90 minutes west. Housing runs from downtown high-rises to suburban neighborhoods to rural acreage with a view of the mountain.
To Apply
Send CV and a brief cover note to Amy Barter, Manager of Physician Recruiting, at clinicianrecruiting@tvc.org.
For a radiologist-to-radiologist conversation before you apply, email Dr. Jonah Zwemer, Department Chair, at jzwemer@tvc.org. Happy to schedule a call.
