Job description

Partner – Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation

Amundsen Davis seeks an experienced ERISA/Employee Benefits attorney to join our Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation & Tax Service Group as a Partner; a fully remote position will be considered. The ideal candidate is an accomplished generalist in employee benefits who enjoys helping private and nonprofit employers navigate the complex, ever-changing legal requirements related to employee benefits, and solving compliance, design, risk and correction issues concerning their employee benefit plans. Desired background includes executive compensation and deferred compensation arrangements; employee benefits in mergers and acquisitions; qualified retirement plans; employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs); and health and welfare plans. A portable book of business is preferred but not required. Candidates must have 10-15 years of law firm experience, strong technical skills, and commitment to client service.

This position offers reasonable billable hour expectations that support work-life balance. The anticipated base salary range is $200,000 to $500,000, commensurate with experience, qualifications, and portable book of business. This position is eligible for performance-based bonus compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k) with profit sharing; paid bar dues; and other benefits described at www.amundsendavislaw.com/careers-attorneys.
