Family Nurse Practitioner Aesthetics Program Coordinator Description
South College is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Family Nurse Practitioner Aesthetics Program! This position is full-time remote based in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for aesthetics specialty courses, providing oversight of course content and instructional alignment within designated specialty tracks.
  • Participate in systematic curriculum review processes to ensure compliance with national accrediting bodies and alignment with institutional initiatives.
  • Engage in weekly one-on-one meetings with the Associate Dean to review program operations, curriculum development, faculty performance, and student concerns.
  • Ensure effective and compliant student practicum placement through coordination with clinical partners and preceptor approval.
  • Provide faculty development and mentorship for adjunct instructors teaching within the aesthetics program through structured communication, program guidance, and performance support initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Dean and Administrative Coordinator to coordinate student preparation for practicum experiences, including precept or credential review, approval of placement changes, and resolution of site-related challenges.
  • Review and approve all practicum preceptor assignments for students enrolled in the program.
  • Conduct virtual site evaluations of clinical and aesthetic practice partners on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance and educational quality.
  • Participate in the recruitment and interview process for new adjunct faculty in collaboration with the Associate Dean.
  • Review select admissions applications requiring additional oversight for the aesthetics program.
  • Actively participate in Program Coordinator meetings, aligning responsibilities with departmental strategic initiatives and curriculum planning efforts.
  • Collaborate with curriculum and instructional design teams to develop, revise, and oversee program curriculum, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with the Associate Dean and Administrative Coordinator to secure and implement instructional resources that enhance student learning and outcomes (e.g., clinical tools, library resources, educational software).
  • Monitor student performance and collaborate with faculty to identify and support students requiring additional academic or clinical resources.
  • Provide oversight and intervention for at-risk students through coordinated communication with faculty and students.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities provided by the institution to enhance leadership effectiveness and role competencies.

Requirements
Education
  • Doctorate or terminal degree in the discipline; professional certification in the aesthetics field may be considered.

Experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of direct supervisory experience within an academic institution; multi-campus leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in aesthetics or assigned specialty area.
  • In exceptional circumstances, relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of academic credentials; detailed documentation is required.

Licensure/Certification
  • Active and applicable professional licensure and/or certifications are required and must be documented.
  • Certification in aesthetics preferred (Certified Aesthetics Nurse Specialist)
