  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and expectations for both in-game and external creative content.
  • Facilitate reviews, approvals, and feedback loops between stakeholders and creative leads.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the bridge between creative, production, marketing, publishing, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align creative output with overall studio goals and project roadmaps.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assets to support game updates, social campaigns, community events, and product launches.
  • Support and produce the annual Sky Creator Award Show in partnership with the community and creative team

Workflow & Process Optimization

  • Help maintain documentation, brief templates, style guides, and asset management systems.
  • Drive improvements in creative workflows, removing blockers and increasing visibility for all stakeholders.

Resource Coordination
  • Track resourcing needs and help balance workload across internal creatives and external collaborators (freelancers, vendors, agencies).
  • Facilitate onboarding and coordination of external creative partners where needed.
  • Protect creative team bandwidth by streamlining communications and minimizing unnecessary disruptions.
  • Can pitch in to support with creative assets.

Qualifications
  • 4-6+ years experience in creative operations, project/production management, or related roles-preferably within games, animation, interactive media, or entertainment.
  • Deep understanding of creative workflows across disciplines like concept art, design, narrative, and marketing.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. Notion, Jira, Airtable, Trello) and creative software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Figma).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and excellent at multitasking across projects with different timelines.
  • Empathetic communicator who can support and advocate for creative teams while managing expectations across the studio.
  • Passion for emotionally resonant games and thatgamecompany's mission of creating positive, human-centered experiences.

Nice to Have
  • Experience working with international teams and remote creative collaborators.
  • Background in asset management or digital content libraries.
  • Familiarity with live service or ongoing game development pipelines.
  • Has video or image editing experience.

Perks:
  • Paid Time Off, Holidays and Two Weeks Winter Break
  • Employees and their dependents get medical, dental, and vision coverage, regardless of their level, tenure, or position within the company. Moreover, these benefits start on the first day of the job-there's no waiting period before they kick in.
  • Pet Insurance for those who need it too.
  • Compassionate leave for employees who needs to take care of their family members
  • Pre-tax wellness stipend
  • Pre-tax work from home stipend
  • Access our savings plan (401K program) with company match
