Job description

About Collaborative Therapies

Collaborative Therapies is a school-based staffing and services company that partners with public schools, charter schools, private schools, and community-based programs across Florida to provide qualified educational and therapy professionals — including speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, and related service providers — to support children and students.

About the Role

We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified clinical and educational professionals so we can staff every contracted position on time, every school year. You'll own the full recruiting cycle — from sourcing through offer — for priority disciplines including SLP, SLPA, COTA, OT, and PT, with growing focus on DHH, Vision, Nursing, and ESE Support roles.

What You'll Do
  • Post and refresh job listings on Indeed for priority disciplines

  • Proactively source candidates through ZipRecruiter, Indeed, and provider referrals

  • Screen candidates for active Florida licensure/certification, availability, and willingness to travel to assigned sites

  • Conduct initial phone or video interviews covering role expectations, schedule, pay, and supervision

  • Verify credential basics (license status, certification, background-check eligibility) before advancing candidates to interview

  • Advance candidates through our pipeline — from sourced to onboarded

  • Coordinate a smooth handoff to our Operations team once a candidate accepts an offer

What Success Looks Like
  • A steady flow of qualified candidates sourced each month

  • Reduced time-to-fill across priority disciplines

  • Strong pipeline coverage heading into the August school year

  • High offer-acceptance rates

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in recruiting or talent acquisition — healthcare, education, or staffing industry experience preferred

  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Zip Recruiter, Indeed, or similar)

  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, Florida licensure requirements for SLP, OT, and PT disciplines

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive

  • Comfortable working independently in a part-time, remote-friendly role

Schedule & Compensation
  • Part-time, approximately 15–20 hours per week

  • Flexible schedule — remote

  • Compensation: $16-$20 per hour

Reporting Structure

This role reports to the CEO for pipeline priorities and strategy, and to the Operations Manager for day-to-day coordination and onboarding handoffs.
