Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements

●        Unit Information:

o   Beds: 60 infusion chairs

▪          Census? Average patients/day? 125 per day

o   Minimum Years of Experience required? 1 year in oncology/infusion setting

o   Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes

●        Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

o   All types of cancer patients

o   Adults

●        Patient Ratios:

o   Depending on which pod assigned. Ratios will never be over 1:4

●        Required License, National Certification, Certs:

o   BLS, Chemo/Bio certification required

●        Skills required:

o   Administration of anti-neoplastic agentsport access, IV start skills, knowledge of Chemo/Immunotherapy side effects and how to manager

●        Support within the Department:

o   Leadership – Manager, Supervisor

o   RNs

o   LPNs

o   MAs

o   MDs

o   Lab on site

o   Radiology on site

●        Technology/Equipment:

o   EMR: EPIC/Encompass

●        Floating: If yes, where?

o   No

●        Orientation (facility and unit):

o   NEO

o   Typically 1 week of unit orientation

●        Scheduling:

o   Weekend rotation: none

o   On call? If so, what is that schedule? none

o   Should approval of RTO go through manager or will you allow the interviewing team (if applicable) to approve time off on your behalf?
