This position reports to the Manager Talent Acquisition (TA) Onboarding & Compliance and performs a variety of duties to support the TA team to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to new hires, internal caregivers, hiring managers, and other key stakeholders. Coordinates and completes all pre-employment requirements and ensures compliance is achieved for every caregiver.
I. Major Responsibilities:
1 (40%). Initiates all new caregiver pre-employment items: including but not limited to human resources items (I9, W4, M4, emergency contact forms, etc.), verifications of employment and education, national background checks, as well as pre-employment employee health services clearance.
2 (20%). Conducts new caregiver onboarding appointments which take place at multiple human resources office locations across the system, may have to rotate to different sites based on business needs. Monitors all items for completion to ensure compliance is finalized prior to new caregiver start date. Follows up on missing/incomplete information to ensure compliance is met.
3 (20%). Maintains onboarding documentation for all caregiver hire types: new caregivers, internal transfers, and contingent workers; collaborates with members of Human Resources Information Services on hire activities.
4 (5%). Facilitates CORI pre-adverse process with caregiver and maintains folder and documentation.
5 (5%). Monitors and responds to talent acquisition email account within 48 hours to ensure rapid response to inquiries.
6 (5%). May participate in participate on HR Joint Commission readiness team. Assists with any regulatory audits/mock surveys as well as accreditation surveys.
7 (5%). Responsible for ensuring compliance with new hire start lists for key stakeholders such as new caregiver welcome team, nursing professional development, epic training, etc.
All other duties as assigned.
II. Position Qualifications:
License/Certification/Education:
Required:
1. Associate's degree.
Preferred:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Business or related discipline.
2. Relevant professional credentials, such as SHRM-CP, HCI Strategic HR Leadership, HCI Strategic Talent Acquisition, Certified Internet Recruiter.
Experience/Skill:
Required:
1. 1 to 3 years of related experience.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
3. Demonstrated problem solving skills.
4. Experience with computer systems required including we based applications and Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
Preferred:
1. Previous human resources or talent acquisition experience.
2. Experience in healthcare.
3. Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
4. LEAN/Six Sigma experience improving HR processes and customer service.
5. Workday experience highly desirable.
Unless certification, licensure or registration is required, an equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
