This position is fully remote, allowing you to work flexibly from anywhere while designing your schedule to accommodate personal preferences and commitments. With access to a user-friendly counselor portal, you will have the tools necessary to manage your clients, set appointments, and deliver effective counseling services seamlessly.

• Conduct ethical, evidence-based individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, fostering a supportive atmosphere for clients to explore their challenges.

• Utilize solution-focused treatment modalities to develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' specific needs and goals.

• Engage clients in insightful discussions to help them gain understanding and clarity about their experiences, emotions, and relationships.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adapting treatment approaches as necessary and empowering clients to develop healthy coping mechanisms for a sustainable mental health journey.

• Document sessions accurately within our counselor portal to ensure continuity of care and compliance with organizational standards.

You will work with a diverse range of clients seeking mental health support, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges. Your unique qualifications and specialties will help align you with clients who seek specific therapeutic approaches and share similar backgrounds or demographics, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current and active licensure as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Kansas is essential. Please indicate your license and state during the application process.

• Capability to practice independently without supervision is imperative for this role.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, along with a highly sympathetic nature, are necessary to build trusting relationships with clients.

• Proficiency in using technology, especially within a remote counseling framework, is required to efficiently manage scheduling and service delivery.

• Previous experience in a remote counseling environment is a plus, demonstrating adaptability and efficiency.

• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques, particularly those tailored for remote delivery, is desirable.

• Experience working with specific populations (e.g., children, LGBTQ+, veterans) can enhance the therapeutic experience we provide to our diverse client base.

• Your annual salary will range from USD 90,000 to 100,000, based on hours worked and case load.
