The Role
The Senior Director, Growth Strategy is a senior strategic leader responsible for shaping and winning Wpromote's most important growth opportunities through sharp pitch and RFP strategy, modern media solutions, and compelling storytelling. As the lead strategist across new business pursuits, this role partners closely with Sales Directors, Growth leadership, Client Strategy, Audience Strategy, and channel experts to develop differentiated, insight-driven narratives that solve complex client challenges and position Wpromote as a market leader.
This role leads the development of integrated, full-funnel marketing strategies across modern media channels, emerging platforms, and omnichannel experiences, guiding cross-functional pitch and RFP teams and raising the bar on creativity, strategic rigor, and effectiveness across every pursuit. It's a role built for someone who believes brand and performance belong in the same conversation, not separate decks.
The ideal candidate is passionate about advertising, consumer trends, and inventive storytelling, with a strong pulse on evolving media and platform landscapes. Success in this role is measured by pitch and RFP effectiveness, strategic contribution, and overall win-rate performance. This is not a quota-carrying sales role.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $185,000 - $205,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state's salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above) and an annual performance bonus.
This role has an associated annual target bonus component which is paid out based on a number of factors which include Company performance, department performance, and individual performance. Bonuses are not guaranteed and you must be an active employee in good standing and not on a Performance Improvement Plan to be eligible for the annual bonus.

You Will Be
  • Own pitch and RFP strategy across Wpromote's new business pursuits, ensuring differentiated positioning, compelling narratives, and tight alignment to client business objectives
  • Partner with Growth and Sales leaders to architect winning pursuit strategies, shape solution direction, and guide executive-level storytelling from kickoff through close
  • Direct cross-functional pitch and RFP teams across executive stakeholders, media, creative, analytics, and channel experts, aligning every contributor around one cohesive recommendation
  • Develop integrated full-funnel strategies that connect brand, performance, media, creative, and measurement into unified client solutions, leveraging the latest platforms, technologies, and consumer engagement trends
  • Bring deep fluency across the evolving media landscape, including emerging digital channels, commerce and retail media, social, CTV, AI-driven marketing, and audience-first planning
  • Make creative and messaging central to media strategy, not an afterthought, ensuring ideas are audience-centric, culturally relevant, and performance-oriented
  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable marketing strategies that connect media investments to measurable business outcomes
  • Partner with Client Strategy, Audience Strategy, and channel experts to ground every pitch and RFP response in Wpromote's methodologies, strategic POVs, capabilities, case studies, and proof points
  • Stay ahead of industry shifts, emerging platforms, and evolving consumer behaviors, bringing fresh thinking into every pursuit
  • Contribute to the evolution of Wpromote's go-to-market strategy, pitch and RFP methodologies, and storytelling frameworks
  • Represent Wpromote's point of view on modern marketing, media innovation, and growth strategy, internally and in market

You Must Have
  • 10-12+ years of experience in media strategy, integrated marketing, digital advertising, growth strategy, or consultative business development within an agency, media, or marketing environment
  • Proven experience leading strategic pitches and RFP responses, and developing winning enterprise-level marketing solutions
  • Deep expertise across modern media channels and omnichannel marketing strategies, with command of full-funnel planning, emerging platforms, retail media, social, CTV, AI-enabled marketing, and measurement innovation
  • Demonstrated ability to develop differentiated, insight-driven strategies that align media, creative, audience, and business objectives
  • Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively to executive audiences
  • Deep appreciation for the role of creative in driving marketing effectiveness and the ability to integrate creative thinking into media strategy
  • Collaborative leader who thrives in high-pressure, deadline-driven pitch and RFP environments, with proven experience influencing cross-functional teams across sales, strategy, media, analytics, and executive leadership
  • Strong executive presence and the ability to build credibility with senior stakeholders, internally and externally
