Job description

Welltality is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing remote team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, phone-based environment and enjoys making a direct impact on patient care.

As a CMA with Welltality, you will play a key role in completing Medicare Annual Wellness Visit (AWV) pre-screenings and helping patients stay on track with their healthcare.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct Annual Wellness Visit questionnaires over the phone with patients
  • Make outbound calls to schedule and complete screenings
  • Accurately document patient information in EMR systems (NextGen, etc.)
  • Identify eligible patients and assist with scheduling
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with patients and clinic staff
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant
  • Meet daily and monthly performance expectations
What Success Looks Like
  • Comfortable handling high call volume daily
  • Ability to maintain efficient call times (typically under 30 minutes)
  • Consistently meeting productivity expectations (~1.1 screenings/hour)
  • Strong attention to detail with minimal errors
  • Reliable attendance and consistent communication
What We're Looking For
  • Certified Medical Assistant (required)
  • Previous experience in phone-based or call center work strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
  • Highly dependable with strong time management and accountability
  • Tech-savvy with experience using EMRs and Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
