Job description

Who we are: Founded in 2001, Vivid Seats (NASDAQ: SEAT) is a leading online ticket marketplace committed to becoming the ultimate partner for connecting fans to the live events, artists, and teams they love. We believe in the power of experiences and are fiercely dedicated to building products that inspire human connections. Named as one of Built In's top places to work in 2025, we believe that our People are our greatest competitive advantage. To support our People, we have built a company culture that empowers our employees to embrace challenges, encourages unity through collaboration, and seeks to constantly evolve by leveraging data and inspiring innovation.

We believe in harnessing emerging technology to power performance and unlock creativity. As part of our culture of innovation, we actively embrace the use of AI tools to enhance decision-making, improve workflows, and produce better outcomes for our customers.

The Opportunity:

Vivid Seats is seeking an experienced Braze Campaign Specialist for a 3+ month contract engagement to support our Lifecycle Marketing team. This is a highly technical, hands-on role focused on building, coding, QAing, and deploying CRM campaigns within Braze.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience working directly in Braze and can quickly execute email, push notification, and in-app messaging campaigns with minimal direction. This role is execution-focused and requires deep experience with Braze, Liquid, HTML/CSS, audience segmentation, and campaign deployment.

You will partner closely with our CRM team to bring campaigns to life while ensuring accurate personalization, high-quality execution, and timely deployment across millions of customer communications.

How your role contributes to the success of Vivid Seats:

Technical Campaign Execution

Build, QA, and deploy email, push notification, and in-app messaging campaigns within Braze using HTML, CSS, Liquid, and reusable content components.

Dynamic Personalization

Leverage Braze, Liquid, customer attributes, events, Catalogs, Connected Content, and audience data to create highly personalized customer experiences.

Reliable Campaign Delivery

Configure audiences, validate personalization, troubleshoot campaign issues, and ensure accurate, on-time deployment of CRM campaigns with exceptional attention to detail.

How your role expectations will progress quickly:

  • Complete onboarding and gain access to Braze, documentation, and internal processes.
  • Become familiar with Vivid Seats' CRM templates, customer data structure, and campaign workflows.
  • Begin building, QAing, and supporting production email, push, and in-app campaigns.
  • Learn existing Liquid components, Content Blocks, and reusable templates.
  • Support campaign launches alongside the CRM team.
  • Independently build, QA, and deploy email, push, and in-app messaging campaigns.
  • Create and troubleshoot Liquid personalization and dynamic content.
  • Build and maintain Canvas journeys and triggered campaigns.
  • Independently execute CRM campaigns from build through deployment.
  • Troubleshoot Braze campaign, Liquid, and audience issues.
  • Partner with the CRM team to support high-volume campaign execution.

 What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying campaigns within Braze.
  • Advanced experience creating and managing Braze Campaigns, Canvas journeys, Content Blocks, Catalogs, and Connected Content.
  • Strong proficiency with Liquid templates, conditional logic, personalization, and dynamic content.
  • Strong HTML and CSS email development skills with the ability to code, QA, troubleshoot, and modify responsive email templates without engineering support.
  • Experience configuring audiences using customer attributes, custom events, purchases, and behavioral segmentation.
  • Experience building and deploying personalized email, push notification, and in-app messaging campaigns at scale.
  • Strong QA experience including email rendering, personalization validation, link testing, and deployment verification.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Liquid logic, audience configuration, and Braze campaign issues independently.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, APIs, webhooks, and relational data structures is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple campaign builds and deadlines.
  • Candidates should be prepared to discuss previous experience building dynamic, personalized CRM campaigns within Braze using HTML and Liquid.

Contract Terms:

  • Location: Chicago, IL or Remote
  • Length: 3+ months; starting ASAP
  • Hours: 20-40 hours/week depending on candidate availability
  • Rate: $70-$90/hr

Our Commitment:
We are an equal opportunity employer that values the critical importance of a diverse workforce and sense of belonging. Many of our roles have flexible requirements and we encourage you to apply regardless of whether you meet every qualification.
