JOB SUMMARY
This position is eligible for remote work in one of the following states: Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin, or Wyoming. This position will require some travel for office meetings, as needed, to our corporate office in Tulsa, OK.
Job Profile Summary
Manage and lead staff that will drive value by establishing, reviewing and improving processes, procedures and business solutions in partnership with the Measurement and Measurement IT departments. Work closely with management, other departments or segments, customers and vendors to streamline our internal processes as well as drive the direction of the technology solutions by guiding the management of business process or application changes and projects. Guide teams in identifying opportunities for optimization and process enhancements and following project management procedures and best practices to execute.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the Measurement BPO team to identify and implement process or technology improvement opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of the suite of measurement software applications, including their functionality, enhancements, and best practices to improve system utilization and support changing end-user needs. Coordinate with application owners to incorporate beneficial changes.
  • Collaborate with all impacted stakeholders on priorities to ensure the highest value opportunities are prioritized appropriately.
  • Develop, mentor and coach a team of employees that collaborate, communicate and drive toward business results.
  • Review solutions, plans, reports and documents developed by team and provide effective guidance and feedback to ensure successful delivery (scope, schedule, and budget) on objectives. Lead special projects when assigned that might be outside of normal scope of responsibilities.
  • Follow project management procedures and best practices to assist in successfully scoping and executing projects or changes.
  • Work closely with Measurement and Measurement IT to establish roles and responsibilities that guide day-to-day work activities of the team as prioritized.
  • Ensure business requirements, project budgets, project plans, and change management controls are established, communicated and tracked for alignment with project sponsors, stakeholders, and end users as the project progresses.
  • Manage and communicate changes to priorities with appropriate stakeholders and leadership.
  • Develop strong working relationships and collaborate with team members, peers, business partners, IT stakeholders, consultants and vendors, to achieve success on initiatives.
  • Lead the optimization of existing processes and systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine standards, best practices, and process controls. Implement robust controls for business processes and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive recommendations for new or enhanced solutions to Measurement and Measurement IT management.
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and address operational needs. Provide analysis to support decision-making and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Analyze current business processes, gather feedback from stakeholders, and assess technology solutions to improve efficiency and align with departmental objectives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in other ONEOK departments to ensure fully integrated processes and solutions where there is overlap and appropriate controls are in place.
  • Contribute to the identification of process improvement opportunities and ensure key stakeholders are aligned on priorities.
  • Initiate and perform business process reviews to make recommendations for improvements and/or changes to resolve deficiencies.
  • Lead the implementation of identified changes and ensure awareness, alignment and acceptance as necessary for efforts.
  • Ensure that stakeholders and end users are effectively led through the testing and training process so that high adoption of projects and changes is achieved.
  • Ensure employee compliance with applicable company policies, communicate job and performance expectations, and create an ethical, inclusive, and safe work environment.
  • Provide periodic performance feedback, manage conflict, and support employee engagement and development.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, engineering, accounting, or computer system development required.

Work Experience
  • Experience with the midstream energy industry pertaining to Measurement technology solutions development (FLOWCAL, TESTit, ProveIT, etc.).
  • Experience in business or process analysis, project management procedures and best practices, software development lifecycle, and change management techniques including identification of potential process solutions.
  • Experience defining, documenting, and implementing project requirements, testing, training and issuing resolutions to ensure successful delivery.
  • Experience managing portfolios of work and communicating status to all levels of the organization.
  • Experience researching, analyzing and composing reports, procedures, forms and correspondence.
  • Experience interacting, advising, training, influencing and communicating effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software.
