Apex Systems is hiring for a Network Access Engineer who will be responsible for supporting and maintaining remote connectivity solutions, with a focus on end-user access technologies including Cisco VPN and Zscaler ZPA. This role is highly execution-driven, supporting a high volume of requests while ensuring secure and reliable access for all users.
Core Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain remote access platforms, including Cisco VPN and Zscaler ZPA
  • Perform engineering tasks such as patching, upgrades, and ongoing operational support
  • Manage secure remote connectivity for employees, vendors, and contractors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve access and connectivity issues across remote environments
  • Support a hybrid environment where Cisco VPN and Zscaler ZPA coexist
  • Process and resolve a high volume of tickets with a focus on speed and accuracy
Environment
  • Cisco VPN-based environment transitioning to Zscaler ZPA
  • Zscaler ZPA serving as the primary solution, with Cisco VPN as contingency
Qualifications
  • Experience with Cisco VPN and/or Zscaler ZPA (both not required)
