Job description

General Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Specialist to support in-office physician pharmacy dispensing communication. This role focuses on managing collection-related communications, coordinating documentation, and ensuring smooth remote access to clinic systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of pharmacy billing and collections processes and be comfortable working across multiple clinic EMR platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond promptly and professionally to all collections-related ezMessages associated with in-office physician pharmacy dispensing.
  • Manage status updates, documentation requests, and follow-up communications to ensure timely resolution of collections inquiries.
  • Review and track outstanding requests, maintaining
    accurate
    records and clear communication with internal teams and clinic staff.
  • Coordinate with clinics to obtain required documentation or clarification related to collections matters.
  • Identify and escalate technical issues encountered when remoting into clinic systems, reporting all access or connectivity issues to the IT team in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance with internal procedures, privacy standards, and applicable regulations while handling sensitive financial and clinical information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient workflows and minimize delays in collections processes.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience in pharmacy billing, collections, or revenue cycle support preferred.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy dispensing workflows and collections practices.
  • Experience navigating and working within various clinic EMR systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow-ups simultaneously.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Comfortable working in a remote-access environment and troubleshooting basic system navigation issues.
  • Ability to escalate issues appropriately and work collaboratively with IT and operational teams.
