The Outreach Specialist, working collaboratively withย the Pittsburgh Program andย key organizational staff, is responsible for expanding the reach, visibility, and impact of VetJobs and Military Spouse Jobs. This position is responsible for engaging directly with transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses, employers, community partners, and installationlevel stakeholders to increase awareness of our programs and drive participation in our services.ย 
This role requires a dynamic communicator, a relationshipbuilder, and a confident representative of the organization who thrives in fastpaced, peoplecentered environments.With travel up toย 50%,the Outreach Specialist will serve as an ontheground ambassador at military installations, hiring events, conferences, community engagements, and partner activationsย inย Pittsburgh and the surrounding 10 counties.ย 
Responsibilitiesย 
Conduct inperson and virtual outreach to service members, veterans, and military spouses to promote VetJobs and Military Spouse Jobs programs.ย 
Represent the organization at military installations, events, career fairs, conferences, and community partner engagements.ย 
Deliver presentations, briefings, and program overviews to diverse audiences, including command teams, employers, and community organizations.ย 
Identify new outreach opportunities and recommend engagement strategies based onย areaย needs and trends.ย 
Provide timely, accurate reports to theย Pittsburgh Program Manager.ย 
Complete annual program specific PII and technology training. ย 
Demonstrate ability to work independently while still achieving required outcomes.ย 
Maintain professional communication with team members and management.ย 
Ensure that all work is completed thoroughly, and reasonable deadlines are met, including but not limited to invoices, reports, meeting requirements, and other documentation or communication as required.ย 
Pay starts at $20/hour
