About the Role:
CrowdStrike is looking for a Network Engineer who has solid track records for building and operating hyper-scale hybrid cloud networks with an automation first mindset. You will be responsible for deployment and lifecycle of our data center network infrastructure. You will own and drive initiatives to keep our data center network running optimally and to increase quality and velocity of our network deployments.
What You'll Do:
  • Build and operate multi-vendor, multi-region hybrid cloud networks at scale
  • Initiate and drive initiatives to improve quality and velocity of network deployments through code, testing, and validation
  • Partner with internal teams to integrate our automation into capacity deployment workflows
  • Develop scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks and to improve our network visibility
  • Implement best practices to maintain the reliability and efficiency of production network
  • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations

What You Need:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
  • 7+ years of experience in building and operating multi-vendor, multi-region production networks including 4+ years primarily focused on network automation
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code - Ansible, Terraform, and NETCONF/YANG or gNMI/OpenConfig
  • Experience writing and maintaining production-quality code in Python (or Go), and familiarity with Git-based workflows, code review, testing, and CI/CD
  • Experience operating in FedRAMP or other regulated environments
  • Expert in various routing and switching protocols, such as IPv6, MP-BGP, OSPF, ISIS, EVPN, VxLAN, QoS, IPSEC, MACsec
  • Working experience in deploying and supporting connectivity on public cloud, such as AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

Bonus Points:
  • Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and improve efficiency
  • Experience working for hyperscalers or large Cloud Service Providers
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining whitebox switches and open-source network OS
