Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based Teletherapy

Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated and qualified Remote Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide virtual speech and language services to students in a school setting. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while making a meaningful impact on student success through evaluations, therapy services, and collaboration with educational teams.

The Remote SLP will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide teletherapy services aligned with student educational goals and physician recommendations. Services are delivered through secure virtual platforms to ensure continuity of care and accessibility for students.

Position Details
  • Position: Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based)
  • Schedule: Full-Time
  • Hours: 38 hours per week
  • Contract Length: 35 weeks
  • Start Date: August 3, 2026
  • Caseload: Approximately 40 students
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver virtual speech-language therapy services to students.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of services provided.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and educational planning.
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital tools to provide effective remote services.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and professional standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required in the state of assignment.
  • Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) and Tennessee Department of Health (TDOH) licenses required prior to start.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required based on state or contract requirements.
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered.
  • Minimum of 1 year of school-based and/or pediatric experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Current CPR certification if required by contract.
  • TB questionnaire or TB testing upon hire if required.
  • Current health certificate if required by state regulations or contract.
  • Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
