German Speaking GP / General Practitioner

German Speaking GP / General Practitioner required for an innovative UK digital healthcare company.

Fluent German and English essential

£100,000 per annum pro rata

100% remote working

1–5 days per week available

Overtime opportunities available

Permanent PAYE position

Work overseas for up to 8 weeks per year

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced German speaking General Practitioner (GP) to join the growing Clinical Team of an innovative UK digital healthcare company. This is an excellent opportunity for a GMC registered GP who is looking for greater flexibility and the opportunity to work within a modern, technology-enabled healthcare environment. You will assess online patient consultations, make autonomous evidence-based clinical decisions and support patients throughout their healthcare journey. The role is particularly suited to a GP who enjoys working independently, has excellent written communication skills and is interested in the future of digital healthcare and remote patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess asynchronous online patient consultations, including weight-management services.
  • Assess patient suitability for GLP-1 therapies and other treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and prescribing pathways.
  • Request additional clinical information where required to support safe and appropriate clinical decisions.
  • Prescribe medication safely in accordance with GMC guidance, UK legislation and clinical protocols.
  • Monitor ongoing treatment and support patients throughout their healthcare journey.
  • Maintain high standards of clinical safety and patient care within a remote healthcare environment.
  • Participate in clinical governance, audit and quality-improvement initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient pathways and service delivery.
  • Provide clinical input into new treatments, services and digital healthcare solutions
  • Identify opportunities to improve clinical processes while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.

Candidate Profile

  • Fluency in German and English, both written and verbal.
  • GMC registration with a licence to practise in the UK.
  • CCT in General Practice.
  • Strong clinical knowledge gained through UK General Practice experience.
  • Excellent understanding of evidence-based medicine and safe prescribing.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with patients.
  • Confidence making autonomous clinical decisions in a remote healthcare environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Experience using digital platforms and electronic clinical systems.
  • A genuine interest in healthcare innovation and the use of technology to improve patient care.

Salary & Benefits

£100,000 per annum pro rata The role offers exceptional flexibility, with opportunities to work 3–5 days per week, depending on your availability. For example:

  • 5 days: £100,000 per annum
  • 4 days: approximately £80,000 per annum
  • 3 days: approximately £60,000 per annum

Additional overtime opportunities may also be available.
