True Brands™ is a leading global designer and supplier of beverage lifestyle accessories. We’re known for our innovative product development, cutting-edge in-house design, and top-tier customer service. With a diverse range of brands, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional quality, on-trend aesthetics, and outstanding customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Packaging Designer to join our creative team on a temporary basis to support a growing family of brands spanning barware, glassware, and consumables. This role is ideal for a designer who combines strong technical packaging knowledge with a sharp eye for brand execution and product presentation.

This is a temporary position (up to 3 months) covering a team member on leave. The schedule is 4 days a week (approx. 32 hours/week). Candidates must be located in or able to commute to our office in Seattle, WA 98103.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design packaging for barware, glassware, drinkware, and consumable products across multiple brands.

  • Manipulate and prepare dielines for accurate production execution.

  • Create bespoke packaging solutions that balance protection, presentation, and cost efficiency.

  • Apply and maintain brand guidelines across distinct packaging systems.

  • Create physical mockups and digital renderings for internal review, presentations, and vendor communication.

  • Build and deliver production-ready print files, including correct bleeds, trims, color specifications, layers, and print annotations.

  • Prepare final artwork files for domestic and overseas manufacturing partners.

  • Review proofs, pre-production samples, and final packaging output for accuracy and quality.

  • Collaborate closely with product development and marketing teams.

  • Maintain consistency across packaging families while adapting designs for new launches and seasonal programs.
     

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of packaging structures, print processes, file setup, and production requirements.

  • Experience designing protective packaging for fragile products such as glassware.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.

  • Strong ability to prepare accurate print-ready files for packaging production.

  • Skilled in creating digital mockups and presentation-ready visual assets.

  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and file organization.
     

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working across multiple consumer brands.

  • Familiarity with packaging for both retail and e-commerce environments.

  • Understanding of packaging materials, inserts, and protective engineering.

  • Ability to review vendor proofs and communicate clearly with overseas suppliers.
     

The Ideal Candidate:

Compensation: * $30.00 - 40.00 per hour DOE
