HR and Staff Development Assistant

Health Solutions is a premier wellness center focused on whole person care. With over 400 employees in Southern Colorado, you would be joining a mighty team of support and administrative staff, clinicians, physicians, nurses, and others in our efforts to improve the health and wellbeing of our community.

We're hiring full-time HR and Staff Development Assistant to work at our 41 Montebello and 1 Wellness Way Locations.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will provide administrative support to both the Human Resources and Staff Development teams by maintaining confidential employee and training records, assisting with onboarding activities, and supporting employee inquiries. You will coordinate training logistics, manage scheduling and room setup, ensure training resources and equipment are available, and provide support for the Relias Learning Management System. Additionally, you will assist with HR events, benefits audits, document management, data entry, and other projects that help ensure efficient HR and staff development operations.

Responsibilities

As a HR and Staff Development Assistant under the supervision of the Human Resources Director you will:

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive and protected information
  • Work cooperatively and closely with other HR staff to provide administrative support, to include:
    • Assisting with organizing and participating in monthly orientation as needed
    • Accurately and thoroughly scanning documents into electronic record storage
    • Assisting with organizing HR-sponsored special events
    • Assisting with audits of benefits plans
    • Creating documents, handling phone calls, assisting employees with questions, as appropriate
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor

Staff Development Assistant Duties:

  • Coordinating room scheduling for multiple training sessions
  • Ensuring technical equipment is available and working
  • Preparing rooms with the appropriate seating arrangements
  • Ensuring proper set-up and clean-up post-training sessions
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information regarding training topics and attendees
  • Providing administrative support for Relias learning management system, such as scheduling, enrolling, and updating content
  • Entering data and filing paperwork from training sessions
  • Ordering equipment and supplies as requested
  • Providing feedback and suggestions for improving the training facility experience
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor

Physical Requirements:

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machine, scanner and printer.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 20 pounds.
  • Regularly sits for prolonged periods.
  • Regularly demonstrates and monitors client disengagements and holds, using approximately 20 pounds of pressure.
  • Regularly demonstrates and monitors CPR, First Aid, and AED usage, using approximately 20 pounds of pressure.
  • Occasionally works under stress in emergent situations.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience working in a position that requires confidentiality
  • Outstanding customer service abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Valid Colorado driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation for work-related tasks
