About the Role: Hotel Management & Consulting is seeking a Regional Revenue Manager that is responsible for monitoring, managing and maintaining extended stay and nightly inventories to ensure the most effective and efficient balance between demand and availability in a portfolio of hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Primary Duties:
  • Maintain vendor relationships
  • Ensure the cleanliness of data
  • Develop long-term rate strategies for their portfolio
  • Communicate with GMs and DMs on strategy changes
  • Evaluate sales leads and set negotiated rates, running displacement analyses
  • Conduct regional calls
  • Complete ad hoc reporting requests
  • Manage and maintain extended stay and nightly inventory controls including, but not limited to, room accommodation and rate inventory controls, sell limit controls, group inventory and cut-off dates, implementation of blackout dates, maintaining demand information and managing sellout strategies in partnership with Front Office.
  • Manage all aspects of rate & inventory management which is done by ensuring that rates and availability are open and closed per policy and procedures.
  • Coordinate the yield management process and manages the property management system on a daily basis.
  • Monitor the pricing of competitors understands the dynamics of the local market and demand generators/ special events.
  • Continually monitor all pertinent travel related websites to ensure competitiveness in both availability and price
  • Conduct ongoing competitor price and product analyses to ensure proper rate positioning and product offering relative to competition. Actively participate in all pricing decisions for weekly, nightly, and 28-day segments.
  • Implement, monitor, and adjust sales and pricing strategies
  • Reporting to the Portfolio DORM, you will be responsible for supporting Revenue Management strategies by completing complex ad-hoc analyses to proactively identify business opportunities while leveraging advanced analytics tools and technology.
  • Manages rates and minimum stays in all distribution channels to ensure pricing adjustments are being optimized across all marketing sources. Execute and evaluate strategic pricing decisions by market segment and channel to maximize revenues for assigned portfolio.
  • Review and provide analysis of weekly and monthly STR reports.
  • Provide critical analysis of strategies, room's statistics and demand factors
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Excel.
  • Independently implements appropriate hotel inventory distribution strategy; maintains accurate rates and inventory allotments in the IDS/GDS/CRO and property PMS in a timely manner to promote rate parity throughout all booking channels.
  • Analyzes independently and determines whether hotel is effectively marketing itself across electronic distribution channels.
  • Assisting in creating/maintaining promotional campaigns in order to generate business.
  • Track customer trends and reservations and communicate with sales teams to gather sales figures.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field.
  • Candidate should have 1-2 years of successful revenue management experience at a multi-property level.
  • Experience in hotel revenue management is important to the success of this role.
  • Candidate must have excellent analytical skills and must fully comprehend the travel industry distribution landscape. This includes third party channels, GDS, central reservation systems, and property management systems.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills are imperative as the candidate will interact remotely with hotels, interact frequently with corporate brand representation, and will coach direct reports on revenue management best practices.
  • Candidate must be able to effectively communicate ideas in verbal and written presentations.

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear.
  • This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
