Regional Sales Manager

Activate Games America
Reports to: Director of Sales
Location: In Region- Birmingham, Charlotte, Buckhead, Alpharetta, Raleigh, Charleston
Type: Full-time / 40-50 Hours Weekly
Compensation:
  • Base salary: $65K$75K
  • Commission: 2% of event revenue after PY SSS

Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving group and event sales performance across multiple Activate locations within a defined region. This role blends strategic leadership, salesmanship, and direct revenue generation to ensure locations consistently exceed group sales targets. This leader partners closely with store managers and to execute regional sales strategies, build corporate relationships, and maximize event revenue.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Sales Leadership
  • Lead group and event sales strategy across multiple Activate locations within the region.
  • Ensure each location maintains a strong pipeline of corporate, social, and youth group bookings.
  • Monitor weekly and monthly sales performance and implement corrective strategies when needed.

2. Revenue Growth & Pipeline Development
  • Drive regional revenue through corporate partnerships, strategic outreach, and community engagement.
  • Identify opportunities to grow corporate team-building programs, school partnerships, and social events.
  • Maintain relationships with regional companies, event planners, HR leaders, and community organizations.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support regional campaigns and lead generation initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong conversion skills and salesperson acumen through outbound prospecting, relationship development, consultative event selling, upselling and package optimization

3. Venue Collaboration and Tracking
  • Partner with General Managers and Operations teams to ensure successful event execution.
  • Support locations in hosting large or complex events.
  • Ensure consistent service standards and guest experience for group bookings.
  • Maintain accurate regional forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Maintain high CRM compliance and pipeline visibility across the team.
  • Analyze regional sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps.

4. Grand Opening and Local Outreach Execution
  • Research and execute local grand opening outreach to community and sales prospects
  • Be key onsite contact for grand opening celebration, including setup, coordination and breakdown
  • Lead localized campaigns by market for local outreach, community involvement and goodwill partnerships with schools, nonprofits and other organizations

Required Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, or experiential entertainment sales
  • 2+ years of sales leadership or multi-location management
  • Proven success managing corporate event sales pipelines
  • Experience leading teams toward revenue targets and performance goals
  • Strong CRM and sales analytics skills
  • Experience in entertainment, hospitality, or attraction-based venues
  • Experience selling team-building experiences or corporate events
  • Highly organized and systems-minded and bias toward testing and optimization
  • Strong communicator across marketing, ops, and tech teams
  • Comfortable in high-growth, evolving environments
