What You'll Do
As a Kitchen Manager, you'll lead all BOH operations to ensure exceptional food quality, safety, and team performance. You'll drive standards, coach your team, and support your General Manager in meeting both operational and financial goals.
  • Lead, train, and mentor kitchen team members, including new hires
  • Assign stations and tasks to keep the kitchen running smoothly
  • Coach team members and provide performance feedback
  • Support hiring, scheduling, and BOH staffing decisions
  • Create a positive, safety-focused kitchen culture
  • Ensure food is prepared and plated according to Luna Grill standards
  • Maintain strict sanitation and food safety practices
  • Manage inventory, stock levels, and product rotation (FIFO)
  • Complete daily audits, logs, and operational checklists
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and report repair needs
  • Monitor labor and food costs to support financial goals
  • Assist with catering, special events, and operational planning

What we're looking for:
  • 3-5 years restaurant Kitchen Management experience in a high-volume or fast-casual environment required
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • 18 yrs old+ required
  • Strong communicator with excellent leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
  • High standards for quality, cleanliness, and organization
  • Ability to multitask and lead under pressure
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Dayforce, Sysco ordering, or similar systems
