$22.21ย Minimum Starting Base Pay* + KPI Bonuses + Competitive Benefits

Midpoint of pay range: $27.76

*Qualifications may warrant greater starting base pay within the full pay range.ย  Individual base pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for the control and work associated with the inventory control process.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Available to work various schedules to provide for operational efficiencies
  • Coordinate, shop and receive tool, instrument and equipment repairs from vendors
  • Manage, track, receive and transfer distribution meters
  • Ship, receive and document transformer and distribution equipment repairs
  • Perform basic general warehouse duties in the absence of supervisor
  • Maintain inventory stock levels of materials and supplies
  • Order, issue and receive materials and supplies to include invoice receipts and payments
  • Assist in managing the requisition, purchase order and accounting for items associated with the supply chain process

  • Prepare and provide expertise for efficiencies within the inventory control process
  • Load and unload materials and supplies in accordance with safety rules and best practicesย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย

  • Enter and maintain electronic data
  • Operate a forklift
  • Make deliveries
  • Manage uniform ordering and cleaning processย 
  • Coordinate vehicle fleet and facility maintenance
  • Manage rubber goods testing
  • Organize and maintain proper storage of materials and tools in order to ensure a safe work environment
  • Clean storeroom and yard to minimize hazards, facilitate accurate inventory counts and maintain an orderly appearance
  • Assist in the implementation and continuing focus of RESAP credentialing
  • Operate PEC vehicle(s) for business purposes in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local law and PEC policies and procedures
  • Maintain driver eligibility through appropriate valid Texas Driver's License and driving record in accordance with PEC policy
  • Maintain the security of confidential information
  • Stay abreast of advances in technology
  • Demonstrate regular and prompt attendance
