ABOUT THE ROLE
The Associate Recruiter plays a foundational role in Equiliem’s recruiting organization. This is a high-energy, activity-driven position ideal for individuals who are motivated, competitive, and eager to grow into a career with significant earning and advancement potential. No staffing experience is required — we provide a comprehensive, hands-on training program that teaches sourcing, interviewing, candidate management, communication skills, and the fundamentals of recruiting in the staffing industry. Success in this role requires coachability, persistence, strong communication, and a passion for achieving goals.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Candidate Engagement & Communication
  • Conduct phone screens and interviews to understand candidate skills, experience, and career goals
  • Build rapport and maintain ongoing relationships with active and passive candidates
  • Provide updates, feedback, and support throughout the hiring process
Sourcing & Pipeline Building
  • Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and creative outreach
  • Identify new channels for talent attraction
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
Sales & Negotiation Fundamentals
  • Discuss compensation, job match, and commitment with candidates
  • Help negotiate pay rates and start dates
  • Influence candidate decisions through relationship-building and communication
Collaboration & Teamwork
  • Partner closely with Account Managers to understand open roles and priorities
  • Attend internal huddles, pipeline meetings, and training sessions
  • Support the overall delivery needs of client accounts
Process & Activity Management
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS
  • Complete follow-up tasks with urgency and discipline
  • Contribute to weekly activity goals through calls, submissions, interviews, and networking
