Job description

POSITION: Receptionist / Admin Assistant

REPORTS TO: Human Resources Manager

FLSA STATUS: Hourly Non-Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front desk and switchboard.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer, screen, and route all telephone calls.
  • Answer routine telephone inquiries.
  • Greets and welcomes guests to the facility.
  • Handles faxes and deliveries.
  • Provides typing and clerical support as needed.
  • Service administrator support to the HR, GM, Directors and Managers.
  • Assists with scheduling of orientations, interviews, staffing as needed
  • All other duties/responsibilities as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Minimum of 1-year prior receptionist or related experience required.
  • Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills required.
  • Typing skills preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalence needed.
  • Knowledge of computers, word processing, and switchboard needed.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is not substantially exposed to adverse conditions. It does, however, require sitting for long periods of time.
