As a Security Officer Reception Post in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a respected financial institution location, you will help create a welcoming presence by managing access control, assisting visitors, monitoring activity at the entrance, and supporting security-related protocols. This role is ideal for someone who values customer service, clear communication, and professionalism while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities for a financial services location.
  • Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Support front desk operations by answering questions, assisting employees and visitors, observing lobby activity, and reporting concerns that could help to deter unauthorized access or disruptions.
  • Complete required reports, logs, and other documentation related to incidents, visitor activity, and daily front desk responsibilities in alignment with post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A current CPR certification is preferred.
  • A current guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
