Job description

Reception Desk Clerk I, The Serve
Work Mode: Onsite
Location:Kohler, WI
Opportunity
Responsible for extending a friendly greeting and farewellto facility users and performing duties relating to smooth operations at thereception desk. This person has been learning and continuing to masterreception desk responsibilities.
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Greet members and guests according to standards andregister usage in the computer.
  • Act as control person for access to all areas of TheServe.
  • Direct members and guests to appropriate areas. Answerall inquiries.
  • Maintain knowledge of all The Serve policies andprograms; provide explanations to members and guests when appropriate.
  • Enforce facility rules and policies, including SOPs,programs, accident/incident procedures, age restrictions, and complainthandling procedures.
  • Respond to all phone calls within 3 rings and directcalls as necessary. Take and deliver messages promptly.
  • Maintain an orderly, neat appearance of the receptiondesk.
  • Assist in laundering towels and maintaining a constantsupply of clean linen.
  • Conduct routine facility walk-throughs to ensure a safe,clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Assist with stocking supplies throughout the facility andat the reception desk.
  • Support general facility cleanliness and organization,reporting maintenance or housekeeping concerns as needed.
  • Provide suggestions and communicate information to themanagement team regarding facility operations.
  • Achieve and maintain CPR and AED certification; First Aidcertification is also helpful.
  • Act as a sales person for the entire resort. Promotememberships, programs, events, and
  • Destination Kohler offerings.
  • Perform miscellaneous clerical jobs assigned by otherdepartments.
  • Attend monthly staff meetings; 10 required annually.
  • Work or volunteer for The Serve special events andfacility programs.
  • Manage multiple banks and ensure all transactions arecompleted accurately.
  • After hire, will be cross trained as a facility attendantto assist the team in maintaining a clean environment for members and guests.

This is a casual part-time position working weekends and weekdays. Hours vary between 6:00 am - 9:00 pm.
Skills/Requirements
  • Reception Desk Clerk I is an entry-level position.
  • Noprevious experience needed.
  • Computer skills are helpful and preferred.
  • Outgoing, friendly personality required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to sellalcohol.
  • Certification Requirements: Adult/Child CPR and Adult AEDtraining. These certifications can be completed on site shortly afteremployment.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
The hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00 The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including candidate's education and work location.
