Job description

Front Desk Receptionist

A well-established medical specialty office is seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional individual to join our team.

Ideal Qualifications

· Tech-Savvy Team Player: Meticulous approach to clinic systems and collaboration.

· Patient Champion: Delivers exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong Communicator: Excellent phone skills and a collaborative interpersonal style.

· Master Organizer: Thrives on multitasking, sharp prioritization, and complex problem-solving.

· Experience: 1 year of medical office front desk/reception experience is preferred but not required. Medical billing, insurance verification, or clinical administration a plus

Key Responsibilities

· Continuous phone work to follow up on patient referrals

· Verify insurance eligibility and patient benefits

· Prepare and maintain both paper and electronic patient charts

· Manage daily schedules (familiarity with HIS systems is a plus)

· Enter patient information and handle administrative tasks (filing, faxing, scanning, emailing)

· Greet and guide patients, providing overflow reception support

Position Details & Physical Demands

· Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (with flexibility for additional hours if needed).
